Terms & Conditions
By using the website (www.dumberstudios.com) and its products, making purchases and successful checkouts from the online store (hereby known as Dumber Studios) means that you read the Shopping Guidelines and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions:
Purchase of products
All items (hereby known as products) are available on a pre-order basis unless stated otherwise.
Albums, DVDs, official goods, magazines and posters are official, sealed, brand new and imported from South Korea.
Fansite merchandise are made and distributed by international fansites.
Pre-order benefits e.g poster, photocards etc. will only be given to buyers (hereby known also as Customers) who partial/paid in full before the product’s official release.
Purchases are not reserved and will not be shipped to the buyers until all dues are fully paid.
All purchases must be placed on or before the 25th of every month. Purchases beyond the 25th of every month will be automatically included in the succeeding batch.
Changing or cancelling of orders is only possible if the items are declared out-of-stock. Once the downpayment is settled, buyers can only modify the orders but not change or cancel them.
Dumber Studios serves the right to blacklist customers with consistent history of cancelled/unpaid purchases and who use fraudulent payment method.
Some items might be sold out without prior notice from our stores in South Korea or by the third-party suppliers. Rest assured that Dumber Studios will provide a refund for these and will update the inventory.
On-hand items will only be available for a 2-day reservation upon purchase. Failure to pay within 2 days will automatically cancel the reservation and the product will be made available to the next potential buyer.
Dumber Studios shall send the customer their order invoice 24-48 hours after a buyer purchases on the website.
In the event that the customer didn’t receive an invoice on or before the 25th of the current month, the customer should be given a 48-hour extension for payment.
Dumber Studios will ask the customer for their personal information such as full name, active mobile number, active email address and valid shipping address for order processing and shipment purposes only.
Dumber Studios is not the manufacturer of the products being sold and will not be held liable for any factory defects and/or dissatisfaction towards the products.
Purchases that have been successfully checked out from the shop automatically entail that the customer has read our Shopping Guidelines and acknowledged our Terms & Conditions.
Payment and Fees
All purchases must be paid either in partial (60% of the total purchases plus the local shipping fee) or in full.
The stores accepts payment through over-the-counter deposits and mobile bank transfer from BPI, Unionbank, Gcash, Maya, ShopeePay and through remittance centres such as Palawan Express and Cebuana Lhuillier; the store also accepts payment through PayPal, debit cards and major credit cards.
All payments must be settled on or before the 25th of every month or before end of day of any set deadline given by the store. Failure to pay on the given deadline will mark the customer’s purchases as ‘Cancelled’.
Proof of payment shall be sent to Dumber Studios before end of day of the 25th or any set deadline for the customer’s purchases to be marked as ‘Paid’.
In case the item is declared out-of-stock prior to the given deadline of payment, the store should notify the buyer and provide a refund.
In the event that the customer fails to settle their due balances 15 calendar days after the product is made available for local delivery, the store has the right to automatically cancel the order and take 50% of the initial payment as a penalty. The amount left in the initial payment after the 50% will be then refunded to the buyer.
The price of all products in Dumber Studios is only exclusive of the local shipping fee and is subject to change depending on the updated retail price from stores in South Korea.
The price is all inclusive of international shipping fees, custom fees and other import taxes.
Local shipping fee shall be calculated based on the buyer’s shipping location, the weight, size, quantity and fragility of the customer’s final purchases.
The shipping fees calculated on the checkout is the default fees for Metro Manila only and is subject to change depending on the buyer’s shipping location, the weight, size, quantity and fragility of the customer’s final purchases.
Delivery of products
Shipment of items from South Korea takes 4-5 weeks after deadline of payment (every 25th of the month) or once all albums are delivered and consolidated in our warehouse in Seoul.
Shipment of merchandise from international fansites varies depending on the merchandise’s availability, the fansites’ chosen courier and country of origin.
Dumber Studios, its supplier or distributor and warehouse handler, shall not be held liable for any damages of the items during transit from the country of origin to the Philippines.
Dumber Studios shall not be held liable for any delays on shipment initiated by the domestic couriers (hereby known as couriers based in South Korea or the USA), sea and air cargo from South Korea or the USA or due to import clearances.
Dumber Studios shall not be held liable for any mistake in the shipping address and personal information given by the customer.
Dumber Studios shall postpone shipment during bad weather conditions, natural calamities and other acts of nature.
Local shipment takes 1-2 business days in Metro Manila and 4-7 business days in provincial areas. For International shipment, shipping duration is determined by DHL.
Once the orders have been sent to the local courier or DHL for shipment, Dumber Studios shall not be held liable in cases of delay, damage of goods during transit due to unforeseen reasons/circumstances; or dissatisfaction towards the packaging or condition of the product upon receipt of the customer. For International orders, please coordinate with us regarding damages during shipping, so we can assist the buyer in filing a claim to DHL. Claims are subject for DHL’s investigation and approval.
Items that have been returned to the store (hereby known as RTS) by the local or international courier due to the following will be marked as ‘Unclaimed’:
Could not find your exact shipping address
Nobody was home to receive the package
Location is out of the serviceable area
The store will smooth out the issue and contact the customer for re-delivery. We may ask for additional fees if deemed necessary, especially for international orders.
The customer shall update Dumber Studios after the buyers successfully receives their order, for the order/s to be marked as ‘Received’.
Unpaid items will only be kept at our place 15 days after it became available for delivery. If it remains unpaid after 15 days, we will automatically cancel your order and take 50% of your initial payment as a penalty. The amount left in your initial deposit after the 50% penalty will be then refunded to you. The items will also be available for sale [on hand] on the website.
PRIVACY POLICY
All online payments are 100% secure and all information shared to process the order is encrypted by SSL. We practice safe e-commerce and do not store your payment information. Dumber Studios respects your rights to privacy. We do not share or sell your information to any third party entities. Any or all information collected is solely used for the purpose of processing and transporting your orders.
RETURN & EXCHANGE
We have a ‘No Return, No Exchange’ policy. All products in the website are either pre-ordered from South Korea or fully paid to fansites abroad (for fansite merchandise).
For lighstick, the products are guaranteed sealed before its shipment to the Philippines. Any factory defects or dissatisfaction towards the item is beyond our control.
For albums, DVDs and CDs, all items are official, original and sealed. These products are only available for pre-order from South Korea, returns and exchange are not honoured.
For Pasabuy, your items are bought at offline stores in Seoul so once the item is delivered to you in the PH, there’s no way for us to return or exchange it.
